Ronnie 2¢ from Atlantic Shores, United Kingdom

Amazing how the light and snow so change the character of the most ordinary things . . this becomes quite alien !

7 Mar 2012 8:37am

@Ronnie 2¢: That picture has been taken in this Kot close to the swamp. It is now resistant to flow. Those plants are bulrush, who are left standing the winter comes.

What a lovely shot...apart from the Pylons(You have to know that I HATE electricity Pylons and land based wind farms-so it's my hatred of these rather than your shot that I am talking about)

7 Mar 2012 3:10pm

@CElliottUK: Neither do I love those poles. They'll just have to put up with modern-day scourge. And after all, the good sides, that the energy is sufficient.

are those cattails? I didn't realize they can survive cold weather conditions! I like the play of lights and shadows!

9 Mar 2012 3:14am

@Photographs by M.E.: They have died in the snow and the frost comes, but they remain up for the winter. Birds eat the seeds are feeding on them. There are also other vertically falling during the winter. Their name in Finnish is talventörröttäjä. It is fine That You like this picture.
