La rivière est gelée mais les arbres n'ont pas encore endossé leur épais manteau de fourrure blanche !
Bon début de semaine lumineuse et chal-heureuse!

Curly from South Shields, United Kingdom

When rivers freeze over it surely is very very cold.......brrrr

3 Dec 2012 9:09am

@Curly: It's great to live in a country with four seasons. The days get shorter in a cool until Christmas and then they start to get longer. Shortest, the day is here for about six hours. In Lapland, there are areas where it is dark for almost two months.

Ronnie 2¢ from Atlantic Shores, United Kingdom

Not long till you get the funny bridge then.

3 Dec 2012 6:43pm

@The Mouse: Maybe not.

Ruthiebear from Titusville, NJ, United States

I like that you included the church in this scene. I am amazed that the river is frozen. We live on the Delaware River and because of its strong current it never freezes, just gets big blocks of ice floating in it.

3 Dec 2012 6:49pm

@Ruthiebear: River is small and quite shallow. It quickly cools, and when the flow is slow freezing to take place after a few cold day.

Sof from Neuchâtel, Switzerland

4 Dec 2012 4:43am

@Nelida De La Fuente: You are right. The ice is still too thin. If the cold weather continues, gets to go out on the ice.

Steve Rice from Olympia, United States
