@Ronnie 2¢: Thank you, that you liked the picture. I think the ideas rolling currently the most food acquisition and the approaching nesting around. This morning, I was almost ten degrees below zero. It's not a good thing for migrating birds.

@Devi: Smaller birds are Goosanders. Nest site search is a topical issue in almost all birds. Cold weather can be a little slow it down.

@Steve Rice: Thank you. This is a nature reserve with a large variety of birds. Also nearby is a bird watching tower, from which you can observe the birds.
