Ronnie 2¢ from Atlantic Shores, United Kingdom

For a moment, I thought y'd gone to war ! What a heavy presence all this must have.

@Ronnie 2¢: After all, war is not comfortable with the idea. I think it's just to be, so that mankind will not be able to ever be fully prevented. The paradox is that the best weapons always think of themselves as the most peace-defensive. These vessels participating in the exercise in the Baltic Sea. One can only hope that come into real action.

@omid: This photo gave me much to think about before I decided to publish it. War is not pretty, but I believe that this exercise will be successful and the acquired skills never required. Oh, so always hope.

gerard1948 from Spain

Very impressive these warships in the port of Turku, hope to he are just for tourists. Beautiful composition and excellent photo. I prefer the old rigging who can be seen in the background.

@gerard1948: These are the Northern coasts-exercise involved ships. Training will be held in the Baltic Sea. It's an old ship at the back there is the Swan of Finland, Suomen Joutsen. It is now a museum ship in the Maritime Centre Forum Marinum berth. Each of us hopes and believes that this is an exercise which will never come true.

That's what it is. It felt just like a good idea as we speak in the forum to tell the world about what happens to our corners. And this kind of appear very often, fortunately, have a look at the country.

Some big and impressive visitors. The small boats on the river show the scale.
