These cars were sold in Finland under the name Moskvitsh, yellow car and Jalta, a red car. They were still in the 70's rather popular because of their low price. With a simple structure, it was easy to keep roadworthy.

Ruthiebear from Titusville, NJ, United States

I am not familiar with these models. Lovely photo and light

14 Nov 2014 6:11pm

@Ruthiebear: These cars were produced in the Soviet Union at the time before. In fact, I owned a Lada from the Soviet Union kind of car. I believe that they are not very often seen in Your own country.

Steve Rice from Olympia, United States

I've heard these Russian made cars aren't very good. These seem to be doing fine though.

15 Nov 2014 12:21am

@Steve Rice: Their technology was outdated and the quality was very uneven. Moskvits, the yellow was warm in the winter, but the air-cooled Jalta was not as good in that respect. Moskvitsh was, however, a very common car in Finland.
