A small piece of a past time

Qwensel House is the oldest wooden house in Turku. The old bourgeois home is located in the center of the River Aura in Turku. It was built in 1700 around the year 1652 town plan area reserved for the nobility. The house was the home of Wilhelm Johan Qwensel. Qwensel tax assessor was the Court of Appea (wikipedia)

@beach: This was then the center of Turku. A lot has changed over the world for 300 years. 1700s in Turku, Finland 11 000 people and today about 190 000 lived.
