The sheep eat hay from the area all summer, and many plants that otherwise wouldn't be able to grow, now come to the fore. It's landscape care and the sheep enjoy living outdoors. Their owner visits regularly to check that everything is fine and he is assisted by sheep dog enthusiasts guiding the flock.

@Hiro: The neighboring city of Turku and Raisio is Naantali, where Moomin World is located. Many Japanese people have visited there. I have heard that many young Japanese couples have gone on their honeymoon in Moomin World in Naantali. Residents of Moomin Valley go on adventures there during the summer months. It is great that you like our town and countrry. It's also been great to see pictures of Japan, where you tell about the country and the people.
